Greenwich Council election candidates update

There’ll be a proper post on the elections to come, but in the meantime there’s now a special page on this website containing the names of those who’ll be standing for election to Greenwich Council in next May’s poll.

It’s snappily entitled Greenwich Council election candidates 2014, and it’ll be updated over the next 11 months. You can leave comments and updates there, if you have any.

Labour’s selections have seen a large number of new faces picked, but regular readers may be interested to know that climate change deniers’ lobbyist Mark Adams, whose past work helping to found a Scottish right-wing party was highlighted here a couple of weeks ago, is not among them. He failed to be chosen by ward parties in Charlton, Shooters Hill, Kidbrooke with Hornfair, Eltham North and Eltham South.

Any news of any other parties and candidates, of course, would be welcome – please add them to the election candidates page.
