Apple Maps welcomes you to Greenwich

You may have seen this already, and of course Google Maps still has its foul-ups, but… blimey.
Rumours that Greenwich Council used Apple Maps when deciding where on the meridian line to site Olympia’s statue of Nike couldn’t be confirmed this evening.

lol makes me cringe. almost as bad as you saying greenwich free school is in shooters hill….( when they back onto woolwich common… )

Woode30 – It’s in Shooters Hill Road and it’s definitely on part of the hill, so why were you cringeing?

Apple maps make me cringe, im a cartogrpher so its an work thing
No such locality as shooters hill it’s a road a ward name and geographical feature but not an official locality name.
