Road accident at Blackheath Standard

In case you’re wondering why traffic in Blackheath, Charlton and Greenwich has been so bad today, it’s because of a serious road accident at Blackheath Standard which appears to have taken place around lunchtime. It’s believed one person died in the collision, which has left the area around the road junction sealed off by emergency services.

And then there was another one in Charlton Road (corner of Bramhope Lane) at about 5:30pm

Still closed off when walking past at 6.30. Very sad. I wonder did the car flip over the metal fence or just knock it down – must have been going at some speed. Absolute idiots.

I heard that 2 cars chasing one another (drugs involved I believe – not confirmed) knocked innocent lady down killing her. Very sad. Don’t know how the car occupants are… hope they learn a lesson from this.
Condolences to the victims family.
